What is Your Passion? What Brings You Joy?

Lately, I’ve been having conversations with others about life purpose.  We’re working towards having a personal understanding of what life purpose is for us.  We’ve come to the conclusion that life purpose is that which brings you joy!

Could it really be that simple?  Yes, it is!

You might be sitting there thinking that your job doesn’t bring you joy or stir feelings of passion.  Your job may not necessarily be your life purpose.  I’ve written about this in previous blogs here.

When you’re passionate about something or various things, it brings you closer to your joy.  Embracing and enJOYing these things brings you closer to your life purpose.  It’s a magical formula that can be expressed like this:

Passion—>Joy—>Life Purpose…

Okay, I’m not a mathematician.  I’m not even that much into left-brained logical thinking.  I’m just going by what feels good and resonates with me.  I’m choosing to live my life joyfully and with passion.

When you think about it, passion and joy are what February are about–if you celebrate Valentine’s Day.  I also challenge you to celebrate the 14th even if you are not with a significant other or love interest at this time.  Your passion starts with you.  If you love and appreciate yourself, you bring that vibration forth into the Universe to attract love and romance.  I’m not saying you need another to be happy or to feel “complete” at all.  I’m just challenging you to love yourself–unconditionally.

Part of my own journey in loving and honoring myself is to follow the things or paths that make me happiest.  Lately, I’ve been receiving guidance to write more.  I also may study to be a yoga teacher.  Both ideas bring me joy!

Also, as of late, I’ve been looking at my relationships.  I am not giving energy to the ones that don’t bring me joy.  I prefer to spend my time with positive, high vibrational people who mirror my own joy!  I am done feeling I “should” be friends with certain people because they like me, etc.  This may sound harsh, but honestly, I think it is more of an honoring of myself.

So, these two questions…What is your passion?  What brings you joy?  Can you answer them?  Can you answer them with honesty?

These are my thoughts for today,

With Passionate Joyfulness,

Lisa
